He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerhardt Klockgether and Edna Klockgether (Miller); his wife Phyllis Dowell; his brother George Klockgether; and his grandchildren, Brandon King and Lisa King.

He is survived by : his children, Deanna Jones (Chris), Brenda King (Toney), Bambi Mitchell (Monte) and Aron Klockgether (Amanda); and his siblings, Henry Klockgether (Evelyn) and Viola Klockgether. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
