She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed Lett and Alice West; her siblings, Grady Starling, Eddie Mae Wilson, Mae Bell Wright and Pearlie Mitchel; her husband Alton High, Sr.; her children, Kenneth Don High, Ronald High and Alta Mae Telford; her grandsons, Billy Jermaine High and Marcus C. King; and her children-in-law, David King, Sr. and Regina High.

She is survived by : her children, Patricia High, Alton High, Jr., Ramona King and Larry High (Kelly). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Lowell-Tims Chapel (1100 E Tamarack Rd, Altus, OK 73521). A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Altus City Cemetery.
