He was predeceased by : his brothers, Benjamin Stewart and Kenneth "Kenny" Stewart, Jr.; and his grandparents, Otis, Ollie Covington, Juanita Stewart Garza and Frank Stewart.

He is survived by : his parents, Kenneth Wayne Stewart (Becky) of Texarkana, Texas and Peggy L. Gallerani (Covington); his father-in-law Ray of Arlington, Texas; his siblings, Tacy Stewart of Whitney, Ginger Lynch of Houston, Texas and Ryan Gallerani (Kelsey) of Puyallup, Washington; and his stepsister Amy Donahue of Venice. He is also survived by niece and several nephews.
