She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Vernon and Nina Ailene Reed (Zimmer); her husband James Russell Roots; and her son Roger Roots. She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda Barlow (Bill) of Overland Park, Kansas; her brother Larry Reed (Kathleen) of Alva; her grandsons, Daniel Barlow of Overland Park and Andrew Barlow of Denver, Colorado; and her nieces and nephews, Matt Reed (Maryse) of London, England, Scott Reed of Oklahoma City, J. V, Reed (Laurie) of Minneapolis and Yolanda Tullis (Jason) of Cherokee. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
