It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Joe Bartlett of Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Leon Bartlett and Sharon Cloy Mead (Wright); his sister Gina Mead; and his in-laws, Donald Barr, Jim and Elsie Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Juliann Bartlett of Alva; his sons, Tim Steffen of Boulder Creek, Jeremy Bartlett of Alva and Bryan Bartlett of Alva; and his sisters, Shelly Mead of Guthrie and Sonya Smith (Jason) of Jenks. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home of Alva (230 Flynn St, Alva, OK 73717). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alva Municipal Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral to the Woods County Senior Citizens or the Alva Public Library.
