He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo L. Kranz and Wilma M. Kranz (Dunnigan); his wife Wilma Fields; his daughter Bobbie Ann Failes; his brother Donald Kranz; and his grandsons, Tommy Sanborn and Douglas Simon.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Franklin of Alva and Steve Simon (Jackie) of Enid; his son-in-law Larry Failes of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Tonya Tullis, Jessie Simon, Glorie Stuck and Jacob Simon; his great grandchildren, Jadyn, Keyauna, Gage, Katelin, Sydney and Jagger; and his great great grandchildren, Cayden and Kingston. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
