He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" Vance and Dorothy Leora Shelite (Knox); and his brothers, Bob Shelite and Leonard "Buck" Shelite. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Aline; his sons, Mark Shelite (Alycesyn) of Parsons and Jared Shelite of Ormond Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Ian Shelite of Parsons, Ashton Clemens of Kansas City, Chandler Clemens of Newport, Audry Baxter of Savannah, Jared Shelite of Jacksonville and Madison Shelite of Ormond Beach, Florida.; his siblings, Larry Shelite (Earlene) of Aline, Garry Shelite (Beverly) of Hennessey and Collene Weber (Lawrence) of Aline; and his sisters-in-law, Lorinda Shelite of Enid and Patti Shelite of Fort Cobb. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
