We announce the death of Ruth Ann Hamm of Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 83. Ruth Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Hoff and Goldie Hoff; her siblings, Elwin Hoff, Zella Lamkin, Betty Smith, Jeannie Giles and Violet Bosley; and her grandson Benjamin Hamm.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Hamm; her children, Kathy Hamm, Steve Hamm (Misti), Douglas Hamm and Edie Lloyd; her grandchildren, Morgan Muegge (Elliot), Jacob Hamm, Erin Kearby, Karli Mayfield (Blake), Grantham Hamm (Jasintha), Chandler Anthony, Jacqueline Hamm, Olivia Lloyd and Amelia Lambert (Coleton); and her great grandchildren, Srivarshan, Silas, Finn, Islah and Evelyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home of Alva (230 Flynn St, Alva, OK 73717). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the College Hill Church of Christ (1102 College Blvd, Alva, OK 73717). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Cairo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the church of Christ Bible Chair, Send The Light, or Tipton Children's Home.
