He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Celesta Mary Howell (Burnidge); his wife Lyndell Joan Shepherd; and his sisters, Joan Nelson and Jean Wunschel (Bill).
He is survived by: his children, Scott Howell (Valerie) of Perry and Kristi Decker (Shawn) of Alva; his siblings, Tom Howell of Alva and Erlene Morehart (Dennis) of Enid; his grandchildren, Heath Howell of Perry, Hadley Howell of Perry and Cameryn Decker of Alva; and his brothers-in-law, Forrest Nelson of Alva and Don Shepherd (Bonnie) of Shattuck. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
