It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Johnson (Alva, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James Eugene and Grace Mae Murrow (Uhl); her husband Jackie Junior Johnson; her sister Yvonne Nieman; and her grandson Jacob Grant.
She is survived by : her children, Jackie (Jean Johnson) of Holcomb, Kansas, Jeanette Grant (Wesley) of Houston and Janella Mendenhall of Yukon, Oklahoma; her sister LaVida Anderson (Elmo) of Helena, Oklahoma; her sisters-in-law, Darla Johnson of Stillwater and Lucille Johnson of Alva, Oklahoma; and her grandsons, Robert Grant of Houston, Adam (Melissa Grant) of Cypress, Jason (Jenna Johnson) of Holcomb, Jerry (Shelley Johnson) of Holcomb and Brett (Megan Mendenhall) of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to St. Catherine Hospice of Garden City, Kansas.
