He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sharp and Ruby Sharp (Crusinbery); his brother Ray; and his siblings-in-law, Jody and Larry Lewis.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilma Fleming (Calvin), Glenda Lewis, Betty Shelley (Edward), Roy Sharp, Larry Sharp (Berlene), Bill Sharp (Angie), Gary Sharp (Janelle), Mary Maltby (Chris) and Connie Flaming (Sam). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Ames Fire Department with the funeral home serving as custodians of the funds.
