He is survived by: his wife Claudia Wheeler; his children, Michael Gene Gooday, Robin Michelle (Bivin Davis), Heath Poafpybitty and Jared Lee Wheeler (Maria Guevara); his grandchildren, Alysia Vasquez (Austin Messner), Drew Vasquez, Taneya Lynn (Kayden Passi), Delos Lonewolf, Haylee LeAnn, Jacob Ray Poafpybitty, Whit'lee and Greyson Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Adriel Jay Messner and MacNeil Passi; his grandchildren, Neices, Christina Guoladdle, Myra Wheeler, Melinda Lee Boyiddle and Michelle Autaubo; and his nephews, Beau Guoladdle and Neal Wheeler. He is also survived by numerous cousins, family and friends.
