She was predeceased by: her children, Stacey and Wesley; and her parents, Niram Edgar and Brittie Mae Goodwyn (Avants). She is survived by: her husband Elmer Franklin Abshier; her grandchildren, Tiffany and Isiah; her great grandchildren, Natalie, Jonathan and Colton; her sisters, Vera Hendon and Judie Nance; and her cousin Abshier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
