She was predeceased by: her parents, Ken Pettitt and Inez Pettitt (Lewis); and her brothers, Kenneth Pettitt and Terry Pettitt. She is survived by: her husband Gary Mills; her children, Kelli LaRue (Preston) and Geoffrey Mills; her grandchildren, Greysen Mills, Kaylin LaRue and Paxton LaRue; and her sister Shari Lamunyon.

She enjoyed working with her hands, making gifts for the family and sewing; she even made masks for friends and family during covid.
