She was predeceased by : her parents, Allie Brown (Latham) and Kile Brown; her husband John James Black; her brothers, Gale Brown and Danny Brown; and her son-in-law Bryan Law.

She is survived by : her children, Stuart Black and Laura Black-Law. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
