It is with sadness that the passing of James Goro Akima (Apache, Oklahoma) is shared. James, born on August 18, 1969, passed away on July 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Akima; his son Gary; his mother-in-law Glenda Lynch; and his brother-in-law Todd Lynch. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Akima (Mizota) of Kohala, Hawaii; his wife Mindy Akima (Lynch); his children, John-Wallace, Ruthie, Jamesy and Emma; his siblings, Wally (Kevan Akima), Lehua (Dennis Matsuda), Gary (Lynn Akima) and John (Jessica Akima); his father-in-law John Lynch of Apache, Oklahoma; his brother-in-law Lee (Gemma Lynch); Trey of Chester, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, and uncles.
