Mary McKnight Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary McKnight (Apache, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on May 13, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Weber and Virginia E. Weber (Crumm); her husband Joe McKnight; and her siblings, Melba Clift, Thelma Swickey, Wilma Rice, Maxine Asch, Esmond Weber, Angus Weber, Raymond Weber and Charles Weber.

She is survived by: her children, Charles McKnight and Melanie Morris of Apache; her grandchildren, Lisa, Chad Austin of Apache, Tara, B. J. Sanchez of Woodbridge, VA, Austin and Amanda Nunn of Ohio; and her great grandchildren, Damon Sanchez and Olivia Nunn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

She had been an active member of the First Baptist Church for many years, a longtime teacher of an adult ladies Sunday School class, and at different times was church pianist, where she was still serving in both capacities until Covid-19.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Apache, designated for the Falls Creek or Mission Funds, or to the charity of your choice.
