He is survived by: his wife Peggye Walls; his daughter Lisa Jo Mattheiss (Mark); his grandchildren, Daniel Roy Mattheiss (Danielle), Carter Theodore Mattheiss (Kirsten) and Amanda Jo Mattheiss; his great grandchildren, Elijah Warner, Wesley Stuart and Levi David; and his brother-in-law Larry Nix.
