The family announces the passing of Barbara Parker (Ardmore, Oklahoma) on September 18, 2026. Barbara, born on July 10, 1932, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verda Bond (Mcdaniel) and Amon Bond; and her sisters, Lillie May Ross, Thelma Chronic and Esther Swan (Bill Parker).
She is survived by: her daughter Teri Hubbard (Jeff); her grandchildren, Parker and Spencer (Courtney Hubbard); her daughters, Emily (Bryan Decan), Addison (Coby Brownrigg), Julie Todd (Kent) and Susan Pettit (Brody); her grandchildren, Ellie Pettit and Levi Pettit (Haley); her sister Faye Cannon; her siblings-in-law, Tom Parker, Janice Parker and Charlene Parker; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ardmore First Methodist Church (501 W Main St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to The Alzheimer's Association, Cross Timbers Hospice and The Goddard Center in Ardmore.
