She is survived by: her son Michael Hoel of Colorado; her brothers, Mark Magar (Kayleen) of Farmersville, TX and Dennis Magar of Gober, TX; her grandchildren, Aiden and Ella; her siblings' children, Robyn and Keith; and her great-niece Brooklyn. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Michael, I am so sorry you have lost your mom. I can imagine this is hard for you and your children, but especially your grandparents. Life is short, too short to lose contact with a dear friend. “Benna and I were very good friends when she lived in the Chicago area. Then we drifted apart, probably more my fault than hers. The last time I remember seeing her was at my Dad's wake. Anyone who knew Benna knew she didn't go to wakes, but she was at my Dad's. He considered her a daughter, and would be disappointed in me for losing contact with her. Over the years, I have tried to find where she went when she left IL. I asked Herman from the Meat Market, and her ex-boyfriend Brent.”
