He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry H. Mitchell and Magdalene Mitchell (Brown); his wife Anita Sue White; his daughters, Janice Vaughn and Linda Holman; and his siblings, Burniss Mitchell, Henrietta Thompson and Patsy Bishop.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Mitchell; his granddaughters, Amy Royal of Ardmore, Taylor Bean (Nick) of Ardmore and Okla; his great grandchildren, Garrett Royal, Amber Royal, Camryn Bean and Cole Bean; and his great great grandchildren, Gracie Royal and Rylee Royal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1610 C St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the same location.
