It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Ray Pruett of Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Mannsville, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Sadie Pruett (Bynum); his wife Maxine; his son Charles David; his great grandchild Jaylee Garland; his parent E. B. Pruett; and his siblings, Judith Pruett, Lorene Hammer, Doris Jean Bailey and Kenneth Earl Pruitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Denny (Dennis) of Houston, TX and Judy Newman of Ardmore, OK; his granddaughter Nikki Newman of Dallas, TX; his daughters, Kristee Denny of White Salmon, WA, Julie Mendoza (Eric) of Houston, TX, Jaynie Poff (Brian) of Dallas, TX, Tera Walker (Ricky) of Healdton, OK, Keri Harrell (Phillip) of Greensburg, LA, Laurie Newman (Jason Watterson) of Ardmore, OK, C. R. Pruett (Melissa) of Davis, OK, Amber Warren (Michael) and Salt; and his caregivers, Gary White, Henry Hamilton, Rhonda Tidwell and Alesa Cooper. He is also survived by Nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
