She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Leroy and Flora Mae Cook Grant; her son James Howard Bearden; her siblings, Jack Grant, Gene Grant, Dorothy O'Dell, Jewell Parker, Margie Wade, Jimmie Wade and Johnnie Coe; and her pet Duke.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Glover (Billy Jack), Linda Dill (Eddie), Rex Stephenson (Kerry), Janis Roberts (Henry), Tiena Britt and Vanessa McWhirt (Mike). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
