He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Benjamin and Viola Velva Grace Eppler; his former wife Irene Heard Eppler; and his siblings, Felton Ray, Thomas Eugene, David Michael Eppler and Anna Lou Randall.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Smith; his children, Steven Eppler and Teresa Coleman; and his sisters, Pat Dorsy and Binnie Stanislav. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home (2118 S Commerce St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery.
