He was predeceased by: his son Michael Wilkinson. He is survived by: his significant other Carrie Joye Craighead; and his children, David Wilkinson (Melanie) of Winston-Salem, N. C., Karen Sims (Roger) of Ardmore, Kent Wilkinson (Cheryl) of Edmond, Okla and Kevin Wilkinson (Beth) of Owasso. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (225 1st Ave SW, Ardmore, OK 73401).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Rex and Joye Wilkinson Scholarship Fund at OBU.
