It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Louise Johnson of Ardmore, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Elsie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elsie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Benson Broyles and Gertrude Broyles (Schacks); and her husband Raymond E. Johnson. She is survived by: her extended family, Ilija, Ivana, Eva and Nina Ristic; and her brothers, Joe Broyles (Lois) and Kenneth Brecht. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
