She was predeceased by : her parents, Cephas Newton and Bertha Anna Morris Griffith; her husband Raymond Martin Lucas; her sons, David, Eddie, Richard and Marty Lucas; and her siblings, Patsy Byes, Jack Griffith and Helen Smith.

She is survived by : her sons, James Lucas (Vera) and Jeff Lucas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
