She was predeceased by: her parent Swiss; the father of her children James Calvin "Jay" Brown; and her sons, James C. Brown and Bobby Brown (Cathy). She is survived by: her husband James; her daughters, Sheila Sicking (Brian), Donna Brown, Joyce Moore, Debbie Luther, Brenda Green (Mark) and Kathy Grover; and her son-in-law Arpad Galvacs. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
