We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2022, at the age of 92, James Eugene Hill (Ardmore, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, D. W. Hill and Hattie Smith Hill; his siblings, Arch Hill, Peggy Hill Clayton King and Hilda Hill Hodges; and his brother-in-law Bill Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Hood Hill; his children, Steve Hill of Norman, Julie Jordan (Chuck Bachman) of Ardmore and Laura Hill Peraino (Vito Peraino) of Mason, Ohio; his grandchildren, Mindy Leary of Black Hawk, Hannah Hill, Geneva Hill of Tulsa, Dominick Peraino of Ann Arbor and Rosie Peraino of Columbus, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Ezra and Evelyn Leary of Black Hawk, Colorado.; his sister-in-law Sue Hood of Oklahoma City; his sibling's children, Andy Hood (Elaine), Henry Hood (Laura), Michael Hood (Sylvia) and Tetene Hood Meltzner (Steve); his sister Loretta Hill Bahner Johnson; his sibling's children, Beverly Bahner Carter, Sherry Lynn Wester and Brenda Bahner; and his friends, Allan Neustadt and Donna Ilniski.
Donations in Gene's honor may be made to the Ardmore Public Library, the First United Methodist Church of Ardmore, Ardmore Little Theatre, or the Goddard Arts Center.
