She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess E. Shaffer and Beadie Marie Shaffer (Alexander); and her siblings, Eunice Shaffer, Winston J., Weldon E., Glen W., Edgar L., Elridge E. and Elmer D. Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Ron Jones (Cheryl) of Fort Worth and Rick Jones of Ontario, Canada; her grandchildren, Gene Christopher Jones (Allison) of Davidson, Cassie Jones Crochet (Joshua) of Denver and Jason K. Sutterfield (Sarah) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Clara Louise Sutterfield, Jude Kristopher Sutterfield, Ella Grace Jones, Arthur Ryan Jones and Heidi Ann Sutterfield; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Shaffer (Justus), Joann Shaffer (Tate) and Beverly Shaffer (Hudson); and her friend Joyce Nutter. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
