It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Johnny Smith (Ardmore, Oklahoma), born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann Flenaugh and Jessie James Smith II; his children, Johntav'on De'Juan Smith and Baby Smith; his stepfather Huey Bowman II; and his sister Latrisha Renea Bowman.
He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Louise Smith; his fiancé Earnesdean; his children, Kyreesha Smith, Patricia Smith, Janiyah Smith, Octavia Brown, Jessica Brown, Takisha Cardwell, Jessie Cardwell IV, Shalanda Bowman, Marilyn Cardwell, Lacresha Outley and Nicole Brooks (Earnesdean Foster); his stepsons, Jesse, Frank, Ezekiel and DJ; and his siblings, Charlotte Roberts (Buki) and Huey Bowman, III. He is also survived by the five mothers of his children, twenty-two grandchildren.
