He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Norman and Julia May Foster (Colbert); and his brothers, Dean, Harry and Stanley Foster.

He is survived by : his wife Janene Gale Foster of Allen, TX; his children, Lorie Hays (Herb) of Allen, TX and Howard "Huck" Foster (Keri) of Pauls Valley; his granddaughters, Sarah Hays, Jennifer Hays, Brittany Foster, Regina McCarty, Lilly Grace Monroe Rodgers and Elisabeth Skylet Rodgers; and his brother Charlie Foster. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
