He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ira Taylor and Melba Rachel Taylor (Westerman); his son Denny Wayne Taylor; and his sisters, Dorma Campbell and Glinda Fay Thompson.

He is survived by : his wife Miss Brenda Schilling; his daughter Melody Collins (Duane); his grandchildren, Jessica Sullivan (Michael), Justin Collins (Jana), Bryan Collins, Dale Collins, Travis Taylor and T. J. Taylor; and his siblings, Pat Seeds, Linda Atchison (David) and Tom Taylor. He is also survived by Nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
