She was predeceased by: her parents, David B Sharp and Euvelda Juanita Zornes Sharp; her husband Clarence Arley Carter; her children, Clarence Carter, Jr., Randy Freeman and Betty Jacobson; and her siblings, Angela Matthews and David Sharp, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Freeman (Sandra), Lanette Freeman, Carol Osborne (Troy), David Bruce Carter (Pamela) and Kevin Dale Carter (Cassandra). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
