With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Dawn Ledbetter (Ardmore, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 8, 2026 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Laura departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Laura. Though Laura may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy T. Ledbetter and Midge Ledbetter; her former husband Fred Allen; and her close friend Paula Heartsill. She is survived by: her daughter Mary "Tanna" Allen Ducharme (William) of Montana; her grandchildren, Halie, Merlin and Josie Ducharme of Ardmore, Oklahoma; and her sisters, Rachelle Graham (James) of Fort Worth and Robin Sowders (Donnie) of Dickson. She is also survived by the brother she never had; many adored nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
