It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Carol Blackwood of Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nolan Warren Neugent and Zela Aline Neugent (Pittman); her son Thomas Lee Blackwood; and her son-in-law Stephen Bates. She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Beth Chavez (Jesus) of Garland, Leslie Carol Bates and Jennifer Ann Blackwood (David McCall) of Ardmore; her grandchildren, Carol Ann Bates Camacho, James Thomas Hazelton, Sarah Bates, Jessica Chavez Womack, Katherine Hazelton Brown, Mary Bates, John Bates, Elizabeth Chavez, Jack Finley, Jenna McCall and Julie McCall; her great grandchildren, Asher, Mychel, Elliot, Jackson, Penelope, Hazel, Jordan, Thomas, Freya and Heidi; and her siblings, Martha Neugent Stolfa (John) and Tom Neugent (Jackie Self Neugent).
