She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Harmon Ford and Ivalista Elizabeth Ford (Thompson); her son Martin Smith; her grandson Ethan Kirkland Hall; her daughter Linda Kathleen Smith; her daughter-in-law Cheryle "Sherri" Ann Smith; and her sister Carolyn Ann Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dewayne Smith (Yolanda Sue Smith), Kenneth Eugene Smith, Robert Boyd Smith, Melissa Raye Lander (Brian Ladner) and Scott Edward Smith (Sarah Ann Smith); her brothers, Edward Harmon "Buddy" Ford, Jr. and Randall Gibson Ford; and her grandchildren, Augustus Chance Smith, Ryan Scott Smith, Noah Dewayne Sampson, Scott Smith Jr., Skyler Nicole Limpy, Michael Dewayne Smith Jr., Brian Holt Ladner II, Michelle Lynn Wilson, Audrey Elizabeth Nipp, Ashley Dawn Payne, Gina Marie Hall, Brandon Edward Smith, Devon Michael VanBuskirk, Shannon Lynn Smith and Brandi Lynn Jagger. She is also survived by numerous other great-grandchildren.
