She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Calvin and Gladys Elmore Ballew; her husband James William Arnold; and her brothers, Cecil Dale and Danny Lynn Ballew.
She is survived by: her children, William G. Thompson, Diane Terry, Cecilia Diane Thompson-Terry, Catherine Denise Thompson Thomas and David Wayne Thompson Huskinsson; and her nieces, Barbara Gay Ballew and Deborah Kay Ballew Reid. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
