She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas L. Coley and Thelma J. Coley (Norton); her siblings, John Coley and Wanda Hood; and her son-in-law Dale Lambert.

She is survived by: her husband Geary Sanders; her children, Rick Wells (Diane), JoAnn Wells, Denise Ishcomer (Lavelle), Geary Sanders Jr. (Kayla Whitford) and Dale Sanders (Michelle); and her brother Tom Coley. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
