Nova Gilbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025, at the age of 77, Nova Gilbert of Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Tulare, California passed away. In the vast expanse of eternity, Nova shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nova farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Chapman (Selena Hood) and Karen Borchardt; and her grandson Jamie Duke (Perla). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (12 3rd Ave NE, Ardmore, OK 73401).
