With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pamela Sue Bates (Ardmore, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edwin Hunt and Joyce Ann Brewer (Behrens); her sons, Tony Hunt and Lyn Bates; and her siblings, Raymond Brewer, Freddie Bearden, Reba Pitts Rueda, Elizabeth McGahey and Carol Steudeman.
She is survived by: her daughter Terra Cryer (Danny); her grandchildren, Ericka Cryer, Krickett Sanders, Vincent Rhodes, Antoine Bates, Shiann Bates, Kyah Bates and Tristan Bates; her great grandchildren, Jolie Sanders, Joanna Sanders and Journii Lyn Feagins; and her sisters, Sharon Bates (Rick), Mahota Martin and Gayla Loyd.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 1610 C St SE, Ardmore, OK 73401. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
