He was predeceased by: his father Marvin J. Milam; his wife Lajauana Milam; his mother Haskell L. Milam; and his daughter Lynnetta Houston. He is survived by: his children, Ladonna McQuistion (Wayne) of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Chris Houston (Daryl) of Stigler, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Preston Hooks, Trista Houston, Cambrie Houston, Cooper Houston, Chazedyn "Chito" Houston, Madalynn "Maddie" Houston, Conner McQuistion and Jimmy McQuistion.
