He is survived by: his parents, Earl Shannon and Arzelia Shannon (Pickens); his wife Lesia Shannon; his children, Caleb Elijah Shannon, Rodney Glenn Shannon Jr., Keaonna J. Shannon and Kyla J. Franklin; his grandchildren, Aaliyah Paige Shannon, Julian Moreno and Xavier Orion Tillman; his brothers, James Maurice Shannon and Earl C. Shannnon Jr. (Gina); and his brothers-in-law, Charles E. Franklin, Jr., Kermit F. Franklin and Sean E. Franklin. He is also survived by family members and friends.
