She is survived by: her sister Dora Hammons of Aubrey, TX; her son Steven Burns Jr. of Weatherford, TX; her sibling's children, Billy Hammons (Julie) of Aubrey, TX, Willie Cottrell Jr. (Elaine) of Sherman, TX, Michelle Hoover of Sawyer, TX, Tracy Welch of Elm City, TX and Deborah Fisher (David) of Atoka, OK; and her grandchildren, Judene Mergner, Luther Mergner II, Audrey Burns and Collin Burns.
