She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Laney and Ina Adeline Laney (Parish); her husband Howard Garrett Aronson; and her brothers, Walter Laney (Ruby), William Laney (Betty), Geral Laney (Jean) and Willis Earl Laney Jr..

She is survived by : her nephews, Steven (Susan), Geral Jr., Walter Jr. (Sue) and Kelly (Shelley); her sister-in-law Mary; and her friends, Wilma, Garnett, Sara, Jimmy and Helen.
