She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Lloyd" Fortenberry and Lillian "Leona" Fortenberry (Hanson); the father of her children Steve Rector; her siblings, Winnie Donihoo (JC), Marlene Gabriel (Josh), Thomas Fortenberry, Alva Fortenberry, Victor Fortenberry, Kenneth Fortenberry and Delbert Fortenberry; and her in-laws, Lee and Vera Rector.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Brooke Wilson (Michael) of Atoka, OK and Valerie Dawn Whisenhunt (Andrew) of Atoka, OK; her grandchildren, Jesse Wilson of Atoka, OK, Ali Wilson of Atoka, OK, Malerie Whisenhunt of Atoka, OK, Adam Whisenhunt of Atoka and Shelby Whisenhunt of Atoka, OK; and her brothers, Dale Fortenberry of Burlington, KS, Bobby Fortenberry (Faye) of Grand Terrance, CA, Curtis Fortenberry of Choctaw, OK and Vernon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
