He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey and Hattie Emma Jean Turner (McDowell); his sister Gloria Jean Farris (Lyndon); and his parent-in-law J. C. Bourland (Opal). He is survived by: his wife Anita Dorthene Turner (Bourland); his children, Tracy Broughton (Michael) and Patrick Turner of Atoka, OK; his grandsons, Ethan Magby (Mariah) of Norman, OK, Kaden Magby (Sarah) of Atoka, OK, Ryan Broughton (Stephanie) of Brookings, SD, Hayden Turner of Atoka, OK and Maddox Turner of Atoka, OK; his great grandchild Nova Magby; his brother Mike Turner (Marla) of Camp Springs, TX; and his sibling's children, Gina Webb of Elk City, OK, Matthew Farris of San Angelo, TX, Jake Turner (Elizabeth) of Williamsburg, VA and Josh Turner (Erica) of Lubbock, TX. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins, students, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service - Atoka (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525).
