He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Day (Smith) and Andrew Jackson Cox Sr.; his son Andy; his former wife Norma Barger; his wife Betty Owen Fisher; his siblings, Jim Cox, Richard Cox, Hazel Kidd, Irene Cox and Ramona Cox; and his stepson Ronnie.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita Cox; his siblings, Don Cox, Bob Cox and Donna Harvey; his grandchildren, Shannon, Brenna and Heather; his stepchildren, Barbra, Clarissa and Wes; and his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, Keegan, Karson, Alexis and Cooper. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
