He was predeceased by: his father E. J. Dunkle; his wife Carol Ann Dunkle; his mother Betty M. Dunkle (Cobb); and his siblings, Ron Dunkle, Larry Dunkle and Janice Liston.
He is survived by: his children, Benita Jayne Shea, Jubal Wayne Dunkle and Reneta Lynn Crane; and his sisters, Carolyn Workman and Edda Jo Clopp. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
