She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermel B. Tate and Georgia Vann Tate (Dugger); her daughter Alicia Gardella; and her sister Norma Carroll. She is survived by: her husband Ray Stas; her son Jeff Stas (Sheila); her granddaughters, Erica Frisbie (Eric) and Alyssa Edwards (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Ben Frisbie, Bo Frisbie, James Edwards and Ruby Edwards; her brother Roger Tate; and her son-in-law Steve Gardella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory (1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Journey Home in Darla's name.
